Our dental practitioners will listen to your, check your jaw joints, examine your oral structure, and confirm whether you are struggling with TMD. In most cases, they may also take x-rays and MRI scans to understand the jaw movement and the position of the TMJ disc.

Our dental practitioners may also take a CT scan of your jaw to see the bony detail of the joint. Based on the diagnosis, we will create a tailored treatment plan for the disorder.

Based on the complexity of your symptoms, we may mix of medications, therapies, lifestyle suggestions, or invasive procedures. Pain relievers and muscle relaxants are the commonly used medications that can relieve you from pain and relax facial muscles.

Physiotherapy involving massage, ultrasound treatment, electromagnetic feedback, and specific jaw muscle exercises can reduce the pain as well as the movement problems of the jaws. If your TMD symptoms are due to teeth grinding or clenching, we will provide you with a night guard or splints to avoid the lower and upper teeth touching each other.

If your issues are due to biting problems, our dentists will provide your bridges, crowns, or braces to balance and correct the bitting issues.
